The Hill Station of Golden Pastures
Kalimpong is a serene hill station nestled in the eastern Himalayas, known for its panoramic views of the Kanchenjunga, rich colonial heritage, vibrant Buddhist monasteries, and the famous flower market.
Once a part of the kingdom of Sikkim, Kalimpong became an important trading post between India and Tibet. The British developed it as a sanatorium and hill station in the 19th century.
